Micro Switch A micro switch can be compared with a standard light switch but in a very small size and light in weight, a so-called subminature switch. It is activated mechanically by a roller leaf. Inductive Proximity Switch This type of switch is a non-contact electronic switch. It consists of an oscillator which creates high frequency electromagnetic fields which radiate from the sensing face of the switch. Hall Proximity Switch Hall proximity switches are also non-contact electronic switching elements. Alfa Laval ThinkTop Control and Indicator System
The ThinkTop range of valve-top units can be used to control and monitor any air-operated sanitary valve from Alfa Laval – including single-seat, butterfly and mixproof sanitary valves. ThinkTop units provide reliable, real-time data about the valve's operating status, helping pave the way to full traceability for each production batch. Alfa Laval IndiTop Indication Unit
The IndiTop indication unit is a straightforward, easy-to-use electrical feedback unit for use with Alfa Laval sanitary valves. It can be set up either manually or via a PLC. The IndiTop valve indicator is designed to provide accurate, reliable information about the status of the many sanitary-standard valve units used in food, dairy and brewery installations and in biopharmaceutical processing. The IndiTop valve indicator fits onto all Alfa Laval actuated sanitary valves, as well as virtually all other kinds of valves fitted with actuator “mushrooms”. Gemu Electrical Position Indicators
GEMÜ provides a wide and well-balanced range of electrical position indicators to monitor linear and quarter turn sanitary valves. Dependent on the device type, either microswitches or proximity switches are used. They enable reliable end position feedback and can be equipped with a field bus connection upon request (e.g. AS-Interface, DeviceNet etc.). The new generation is self-learning. The devices recognize the valve end positions from the manual or automatic end position programming during initialization. No more work-intensive manual setting of microswitches or proximity switches is necessary; the breaking in of installations or recalibration after servicing work becomes considerably easier.
