Alfa Laval SBV Sanitary Ball Valves
Alfa Laval's SBV is a sanitary ball valve designed for use as a product valve. Applications include food and beverage as well as pharmaceutical and chemical industries. The full bore design with zero flow restriction makes SBV the optimum choice for viscous or particulate liquids. A precision-made ball with a bore is positioned inside the valve body between two flanges and two PTFE valve seats. SBV is operated by a pneumatic actuator or manually operated by means of a handle. Standard Design SBV consists of a valve body, two flanges, PTFE valve seats, ball, stem unit and a handle or bonnet and actuator unit. SBV is a full bore valve with a constant pipeline diameter and a flow restriction comparable to that of a straight tube. A special selected PTFE material grade secures long lifetime of the product wetted seals. Reliable valve stem sealing is achieved by the use of spring loaded and self adjusting seal rings. Series 77 Ball Valves feature a high quality 316L investment casting. They are available with sanitary clamp or orbital tube OD ends. Select the cavity filled or non-cavity filled design. Superior leak protection is accomplished by using a patented live-loaded packing system featuring Bellville washers and double "V" ring packing. The high-purity design, high vacuum rating, high cycle life and pressure/temperature rating of these valves help assure quality production with minimum downtime. They last many times longer than diaphragm valves and prevent catastrophic failure. High Purity Design All interior wetted surfaces on the clean valves are 316L with a standard finish to 30 Ra. Habonim High Purity Ball Valves
Habonim ball valves are available in 3-piece or flanged body construction, in size range from 1/4" to 8", reduced and full port. Habonim has a fully equipped, positive pressure cleanroom for the assembly of valves. The valves are cleaned, dried, helium leak tested, inspected, tagged and then packed in a hermetical sealed bag filled with Dry Nitrogen.

Alfa Laval Tri-Clover® 5308/5309 Series Ball Valves
Alfa Laval Tri-Clover ball valves are ideal for applications requiring a full flow body design to minimize line turbulence and pressure drop. An encapsulated seat option is available for critical process applications requiring maximum reduction of potential for product entrapment. Standard Design The Tri-Clover ball valve consists of a stainless steel body that houses a rotating ball. The rotating ball is sealed in the body with a PTFE seat that either partially or fully encapsulates the ball. The valve is activated by a stainless steel handle that opens and closes the valve through a quarter turn. The valve can also be operated by an optional quarter-turn pneumatic actuator. External thrust springs maintain constant pressure on the stem packing. The stem and packing design eliminate the possibility of the stem becoming dislodged or blown out. |
